Hello.

Miwa Cogez has been writing stories, plays and screenplays since she was a little girl and has lived many lives since. Born in Seattle, she is a first generation American born to a Japanese-Hawaiian mother and French father.

In addition to her love the written word and the dramatic arts, classical music has played a critical part her development as an artist. Her study of the violin beginning at age four was the foundation of her formative years. She continued to play at the University of Southern California where she studied film and political science.

 

Following university, she worked for many years in various facets of advertising and marketing as a copywriter, designer and in sales. In New York, she worked as a professional model and actor and is a graduate of the William Esper Studio.

 

Today, Miwa resides in Haverford, PA where she lives with her husband, two children and various kitties. She loves gardening and collects peonies. She is never going paragliding again. She is still scribbling out scenes and poems in spare moments.
